My Digital Studio - The Home of "Fried Green Tomatoes" 12x12 Scrapbook Pages

If you were to ask me what my favorite movies of all time were, my top picks would include Steel Magnolias, The Wizard of Oz, and, of course, Fried Green Tomatoes!  Did you know that there really is a Whistle Stop Cafe?  It is located in Juliette, Georgia and was the site of filming of the Whistle Stop Cafe scenes in the movie: 

Here are some pictures from behind the Whistle Stop... and we even got to see a train roll by while we were there! 

Poor Frank Bennett, the jerk that he was, met his demise at the Whistle Stop and, let's just say that he proved once and for all that "the secret was in the sauce."

 We were delighted to get a peek inside of Smokey Lonesome's home behind the Whistle Stop.

The Whistle Stop Train Depot was a definite must on the photo shoot list, as was my now oversized child riding on a kiddie horse.  Where has the time gone??

There were several very cute shops in town as well, which I neglected to take a photo of.  We visited The Honeycomb and bought local honey from the beekeeper himself.  He was a fascinating gentleman and enjoyed sharing stories of his beekeeping.  We bought some of his own Whistlestop brand honey and it is delicious!

 We finished out our day at the Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge.  The kids enjoyed skipping (and "plunking") rocks into a creek ford while we were there.

I recorded our adventures in Juliette, Georgia using My Digital Studio.  I used the Designer Template "Sunny Day" and all I did was insert pictures - NO DESIGNING!!  It was SOOOO simple and I love how it turned out!  The "Sunny Day" Designer Template was INCLUDED with the My Digital Studio software package when purchased, so no extra downloading!  Just load the software and GO! 

The best part is that my pages are DONE.  I tend to procrastinate with my scrapbooking, but My Digital Studio made it so simple - it only took about 30 minutes to complete 8 pages from start to finish.  LOVE that!  All I have to do now is print the pages and stick them in an album!

My Digital Studio - The Strawberry Patch 12x12 Scrapbook Pages

We decided to head out yesterday for a family quality-time mini road trip.  No real plans other than to visit High Falls State Park and Indian Springs State Park with a stop for lunch at Fresh Air BBQ in Jackson, Georgia.  On our way through Meansville, we saw a sign for fresh strawberries and followed it... and we are SO glad that we did! 

I recorded our adventures at The Strawberry Patch using My Digital Studio.  I used the Designer Template "Sunny Day" and all I did was insert pictures - NO DESIGNING!!  It was SOOOO simple and I love how it turned out!  The "Sunny Day" Designer Template was INCLUDED with the My Digital Studio software package when purchased, so no extra downloading!  Just load the software and GO!
