Late November/Early December Updates - Lots of Info!

So.............. I tried to send out an email to my mailing list with the cutest little snowmen on it. Unfortunately, while it looked fantastically creative on my end, it did not translate well in cyberspace for some reason??? EVENT CANCELLATION - 11/29/2008: Due to lack of participation, I have cancelled the event scheduled for 11/29/2008. It is just not a good weekend for most folks, being the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I will plan accordingly next year and try to do a Christmas in October event instead!

PMS Night, Quilters Bazaar, and November Promos from Stampin' Up!

Saturday, 11/01/2008, was the 27th annual Pleasant Grove UMC Quilters Bazaar and Quilt Show. This was my first experience with the event and I must say that it was amazing.

On an "undecorated" day, the church sanctuary is stunning in its own right, but Saturday it was truly breath-taking. The talented quilting ladies display their creations by draping them over every pew in the sanctuary, as well as any other available space, and it is truly beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice, nor do they allow you to see the craftmanship. True works of art....

I was a vendor and had a booth set up in the church parking lot. I met lots of wonderful people, both people visiting the bazaar and the other vendors. This was my very first craft fair and I must say that I enjoyed it! Here are some photos of my booth and items I had for sale:

*FREE PMS NIGHT INFORMATION:
My November PMS Night starts at 5:00 p.m. on 11/1/2008. For everyone who purchases (FROM ME) a minimum of 10 donation tickets (they are $1.00 each), you will receive a certificate for free entry to one of my PMS Nights to be redeemed at your convenience, as well as a minimum of 10 entries (1 entry per ticket) to win the fabulous handmade quilt pictured above! All of these proceeds will go directly to the church.

To be eligible for this offer, you must purchase tickets directly from ME between now and 2:45 p.m. on 11/1/2008. The drawing will be held at 3:00 p.m. and you need not be present to win. If you are interested, please let me know and I will put your tickets to the side!

I will be a vendor at the Bazaar on Saturday, so be sure to stop by and say hello. I will have handmade items for sale, as well as information on upcoming events, etc. Hope you can join us for what promises to be a very fun day!

Registration is now open for my World Card Making Day event to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charity. Here are the cards we will be making using the "Say it With Scallops" set, whose sales benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charity:

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

OPTION ONE: Purchase the Ronald McDonald House Charity stamp set ($17.95 plus shipping/tax):

• Make as many cards as you like for $1.25 each.
• The national RMHC will receive $2.00 from each stamp set purchase.
• Our local RMHC in Columbus will receive $0.25 for each card made this day!

OPTION TWO: Don’t purchase the set:
