27th Annual Pleasant Grove Quilters Bazaar and Craft Fair

Date/Time: 11/07/2009 from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Location: PGUMC

Join me for the 27th Annual Pleasant Grove Quilters Bazaar. (Click HERE to see my blog post from last year’s event).

I will have a booth again! I will be selling handmade items, hand stamped cards, and will also have a CLEARANCE SECTION where I will have retired stamps and assorted other crafting/stamping/scrapbooking supplies marked to sell! If you haven't been to any of my clearance sales in the past, you don't know what you are missing!!

The sanctuary will be draped in handmade quilts, the parking lot will be covered in booths selling crafts and handmade items, and they will have BBQ and brunswick stew, to-die-for pound cakes, and other baked goods will be for sale. The quilters will also be giving away a handmade quilt with donation tickets selling for only $1.00 each. It just doesn’t get any better than that! Mark your calendar now for a day of fun at PGUMC.

• My tools and professional assistance will be available.
• Mystery Hostess Drawing if the group's order reaches $150.00 that night. Earn 1 entry for every $25.00 you spend (retail).

"KELSIE'S KORNER"

• Fee: $3 fee per child for the 8-12 year olds.
• Make and Take project, refreshments, cropping space at "Kelsie's Korner" (table set up for younger folks).
• Attendees 13+ (or who sit at regular tables and/or do adult make and takes) considered adults.
• Important Information: Requirements are that children be 8+, able to sit at the table for an extended period of time without being disruptive, and they must respect the products they are invited to use, as well as the adults that are trying to work quietly along with them. I will remind the children of the rules at beginning of evening. Please bring enough for your child to work for entire night (“scramping” projects, coloring books, quiet games, small craft projects to share, whatever they can work on independently and quietly), as they will not be allowed on the playground or at the foosball table.
• Feel free to bring items to add to a “community craft bucket” if you wish.

Hi! This is just a reminder that PMS Night on 09/19/2009 was cancelled and rescheduled for 09/03/2009 as a Super Saturday before my Dad passed away.

I decided after my husband's back surgery interrupting the August PMS Night and then my Dad passing away and having to cancel the 09/03/2009 Super Saturday I had planned, I would not tempt fate and try to reschedule it again.

So, NO PMS NIGHT TOMORROW!

Is it Friday already? I did some calculating on the extra hostess benefits for June and was shocked! I want to be a hostess too!!!

Happy Hostess Workshops

Hi! I have received some great feedback on the Happy Hostess Workshops! I have several of you who are interested, but are concerned about having to bring 5 people.

Let me explain my initial intent.... I was hoping it would work to your benefit, as you would be sure to make at least the $150 to receive hostess benefits with each of the 5 only having to spend roughly $30.

With your feedback (I really DO love feedback ladies, so don't ever be shy!!!), I have decided to eliminate the minimum number of attendees. Bring whoever you want! If at all possible, I would like there to be no more than 10 guests per hostess A and 10 guests per hostess B so that we could maintain a manageable workshop.

Here is the updated information:

HAPPY HOSTESS WORKSHOPS
Location: Pleasant Grove UMC Fellowship Hall.
Cost: FREE (donations to PGUMC welcome).

• Just like in-home workshops, but hostesses won't have to make snacks OR clean the house!
• 4 hostess slots each month. Hostesses sign up bring a maximum of 10 people.
• Walk-ins welcomed (PRIOR to the start of the workshop). Assigned to established hostess groups.
• 2 hostess groups meet at same time (hostess group A and hostess group B).
• Participants each take home a scrapbooking make and take, a card make and take, and Big Shot item.
• Light refreshments available.
• Each hostess earns all hostess benefits from orders received from guests in own hostess group (A or B respectively).
• 10% of my profit will go to Pleasant Grove UMC.
