The Heart of Stampin' Up!®

Those of you who have been following me for a while know about Stampin' Up!® co-founder and CEO, Shelli Gardner. Shelli has her own blog and posts regularly about lots of behind the scenes Stampin' Up! information. She also gives readers a peek inside of her family and her Stampin' adventures.

A post earlier this week caught my attention and tugged at my heart. The post talked about the employees at the home office pitching in to assemble 5000 hygiene kits to send to Haiti. It was a project that was supposed to take place later in the week, but the employees were so moved they got it done much sooner - and while the boss was out of the office! You can read the post by clicking the photo below.

There are many reasons that I love Stampin' Up! The products are top notch, the opportunities for growth and advancement are fantastic, and the gift of being able to live the Statement of the Heart...

To LOVE what we do and SHARE what we love, as we help others ENJOY CREATIVITY and worthwhile ACCOMPLISHMENTS, in this we make a DIFFERENCE.

I find myself humbled and proud to be among some of the kindest, most generous individuals in the crafting industry. It is wonderful to see the Stampin' Up! president working right alongside of the individuals who make everything possible for the demonstrators across the U.S., the people who work to fill boxes with Stampin' goodies to deliver to our customers, the people who answer the phones, the people who work day in and day out behind the scenes so that we demonstrators can simply share our passion without any worries. A big thanks to you all for all that you do!

Don't forget that from now until 02/28/2010, $2 from every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set you purchase will be donated to the American Red Cross' Haiti Relief and Development Fund. The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance, and other support to help those in need.
