Shelli to Appear on the TODAY Show!

Exciting news--for the second year in a row, Shelli Gardner has been invited to appear on NBC's TODAY Show!  Shelli's December 13 appearance on the TODAY Show is in recognition of Stampin' Up!® participating with the Direct Selling Association (DSA) in the TODAY Show Annual Holiday Toy & Gift Drive. Stampin' Up! believes in giving back to the community and making a difference in people's lives and the Making a Difference program encompasses this philosophy and provides wonderful opportunities to help individuals and families in need.

In summer 2003, Stampin' Up! launched its Making a Difference campaign, designed to facilitate giving by the corporate office and promote service among demonstrators and employees.

The first organization to partner with Stampin' Up! for the Making a Difference program is Ronald McDonald House Charities, an organization committed to improving the lives of children and families throughout the world by providing child abuse prevention programs, access to health care, scholarships, and other services.

Stampin' Up!'s commitment to RMHC is fourfold. Each year, the company donates $100,000 to the organization, in addition to a portion of the proceeds from the sale of an exclusive stamp set designed to promote the partnership with RMHC. The company's demonstrators are also encouraged through the Making a Difference campaign to volunteer their time teaching Ronald McDonald House guests in their areas the creative art of rubber stamping.

Finally, cards demonstrators create at training events throughout the US and Canada are donated to Ronald McDonald Houses in the areas where the events are held. Those who are staying at the Houses then use the cards to keep in touch with loved ones while they are away from home.
